The soprano range covers the higher two-octave register used for melody lines and bright accent passages, and the carefully tuned rosewood-style hardwood bars produce the warm, mellow tone signature of the xylophone. Bars are removable for substitution and individual tuning, the resonator box reinforces and warms the sound, and the included pair of mallets makes the instrument playable straight out of the case. A classic core classroom instrument.
