The Maestro Project X X1-TE is a full-solid travel guitar that punches well above its compact size, pairing a solid Sitka spruce top with solid khaya mahogany back and sides to deliver a warm, resonant tone you wouldn't expect from a 610mm scale length instrument. The modified X-bracing pattern in quarter-sawn Sitka spruce ensures the top responds dynamically across the frequency range, while the dovetail neck joint and nitrocellulose matte finish allow the tonewoods to vibrate freely and open up over time. Thoughtful appointments like a kingwood fingerboard and bridge, abalone rosette, and unbleached bone nut and saddle give the X1-TE a refined feel and look that belies its accessible price point, and every guitar ships with a professional PLEK setup for precise playability right out of the case.
