A bookmatched solid Sitka spruce top sits over Pau Ferro back and sides for a balanced, articulate voice that handles fingerstyle and strummed work equally well, while Cathedral Peaked Scalloped-X bracing keeps the top responsive and lets the guitar open up as it ages. A Venetian cutaway opens the upper frets cleanly, the mahogany neck and Ovangkol fingerboard sit in the hand with the satin warmth Washburn is known for, and an integrated Fishman Presys+ 501T preamp with onboard tuner makes the guitar stage-ready as soon as it comes out of the box. Mahogany binding, Pau Ferro headstock cap with pearl Washburn logo, 18:1-ratio die-cast tuners, and a beautifully alternating maple-and-mahogany rosette round out a guitar that punches well above its price for working players.
