The SurgeX SEQ-1U is a single-rack-space power sequencer that combines programmable, staged power-up with the company's renowned surge elimination and power conditioning in one magnetically shielded steel chassis. Operating on 120 volts with a 20-amp total load rating, it provides eight grounded receptacles arranged in switched banks plus an always-on bank, with each bank brought online after an adjustable 0-to-40-second delay so large systems start and shut down in a controlled, orderly sequence that prevents damaging inrush surges. Rather than diverting transient energy like conventional MOV-based units, SurgeX Advanced Series Mode technology eliminates surges non-sacrificially, withstanding repeated 6,000-volt events, while EMI/RFI filtering, zero-cross switching, and catastrophic over- and under-voltage shutdown protect connected gear from dirty or unstable power.
