The Sadowsky MetroExpress 21-Fret Vintage J/J 5-String Bass delivers the legendary Sadowsky tone and playability in a more accessible package. Built with a lightweight okoume body and a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, this instrument offers excellent resonance, stability, and a fast, comfortable playing experience. At its core are two Sadowsky passive hum-cancelling stacked J-Style pickups — one in the neck position and one in the 60s bridge position — paired with an active Sadowsky 2-way preamp featuring a convenient push/pull bypass for seamless switching between active and passive modes. The 34-inch scale length and 21 nickel silver frets provide a classic feel, while the 12-inch fingerboard radius ensures smooth playability across the full range of the five-string layout.
