The Sadowsky MetroExpress 21-Fret Hybrid PJ Bass delivers the legendary Sadowsky tone and playability in a more accessible package. Built with a lightweight okoume body and a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, this 4-string bass offers excellent resonance and a snappy, articulate voice. The hybrid P/J pickup configuration — featuring a Sadowsky passive P pickup at the neck and a passive single-coil J pickup at the bridge — provides remarkable tonal versatility, from thick, punchy Precision-style growl to the bright, focused bite of a Jazz bass and everything in between. Sadowsky's Classic 2-Band boost-only preamp lets you dial in additional bass and treble when you need it while preserving a pure passive tone at unity.
