The Sadowsky MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass is a German-crafted 5-string instrument designed for players who demand extended range and modern tonal versatility. Built with a chambered American Swamp Ash body and a maple neck topped with a maple fingerboard, this bass delivers a bright, articulate voice with excellent resonance and reduced weight. The dual Sadowsky Soapbar pickups feed into an active Sadowsky preamp with bass and treble boost, a Vintage Tone Control (VTC), and a push/pull preamp bypass, giving players seamless access to both modern punch and classic passive warmth. With 24 nickel silver frets across a 34-inch scale, the sleek undersized body ensures effortless access to the full two-octave range, making it equally at home in studio sessions and on stage.
