Its undersized J-style body is crafted from Red Alder with a chambered design that keeps the weight comfortably under 9 lbs, while the Solid Dark Lake Placid Blue Metallic High Polish finish gives it unmistakable stage presence.
At the heart of this bass is the classic P/J pickup configuration — a Sadowsky P-style split-coil in the neck position paired with a J-style single-coil at the bridge — delivering everything from thick, punchy Precision-style growl to the articulate bite of a Jazz Bass and every blend in between. Sadowsky's onboard active preamp with true bypass lets you switch seamlessly between a warm, organic passive tone and shaped active sound with dedicated treble and bass boost, plus a Vintage Tone Control for dialing in classic rolled-off highs.
