The Sadowsky MetroLine Hybrid P/J Bass is a German-crafted 5-string instrument that pairs a chambered American Swamp Ash body with a bolt-on maple neck and maple fingerboard, delivering the classic P-Bass punch alongside modern versatility. At its core, a passive Sadowsky P-style pickup in the neck position teams with a hum-cancelling J-style pickup in the 60s bridge position, all routed through Sadowsky's active 2-way preamp with bass and treble boost, a Vintage Tone Control, and a push/pull preamp bypass for seamless switching between active and passive tones. The 34-inch scale length, 21 nickel silver frets, and comfortable C-shape neck profile make it equally at home on stage and in the studio, while the lightweight chambered body keeps long sets comfortable without sacrificing resonance or sustain.
