The Santa Cruz OO Skye was developed with fingerstyle jazz guitarist Eric Skye, and it pairs an Adirondack spruce top with cocobolo back and sides on a deeper 12-fret OO body. Adirondack bracing attached with hot hide glue and a scalloped pattern give the top a quick, complex response, while cocobolo adds richness, sustain and a striking appearance. A slotted headstock with a cocobolo headplate, a wide 1-13/16" nut and a 24.9" scale make it especially comfortable for intricate chord work, and the only fingerboard inlay is an SCGC logo at the 14th fret. Handcrafted in Santa Cruz, California, it is a refined small-bodied guitar built for nuanced, expressive playing.
