This custom example pairs a Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood back and sides, and Santa Cruz upgraded the build with Adirondack bracing set in hot hide glue over a scalloped Advanced X pattern. A flamed mahogany neck with a round, low-profile carve, a Brazilian rosewood headplate, herringbone trim and a vintage tinted top give it a classic yet refined appearance, with a single SCGC logo at the 12th fret. Handcrafted in Santa Cruz, California, it is a versatile guitar equally suited to fingerstyle arrangements and confident flatpicked rhythm.
