The Santa Cruz F Model is a large-bodied flattop with a deep, full voice, and this custom example pairs a cedar top with Indian rosewood back and sides for a warm, immediate response. Cedar is prized by fingerstyle players for how easily it speaks under a light touch, and the rosewood adds depth and sustain beneath it. Santa Cruz dressed this build in snakewood body, fingerboard and headstock binding, an abalone rosette and a carved bridge, while a 1-3/4" nut and round, low-profile neck give the left hand extra room. Handcrafted in Santa Cruz, California, it is a richly appointed guitar that rewards both delicate fingerpicking and fuller strumming.
