The Bedell Private Reserve Dreadnought #4010 is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted instrument built in Bedell's Oregon custom shop, pairing an Ancient Bald Cypress top — salvaged from the bottom of the Santee River and aged underwater for centuries — with the rarest of rare Milagro Brazilian Rosewood back and sides for a tonal palette that delivers deep, resonant bass, rich complex overtones, and clear, singing highs found in only a handful of new instruments anywhere in the world. The 25.5″-scale dreadnought rides on a Honduran Mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, bone 1.75″ nut, 20 frets, Figured Koa binding, and Waverly #4072 nickel tuners with black pearl buttons. Custom burst-gloss finish with semi-gloss barrel, gloss heel and headstock, mosaic bridge pins in brass/copper/nickel silver, and Mother-of-Pearl detailing make this a true Private Reserve showpiece for the discerning collector. Ships in a custom Ameritage hardshell case.
