The Hozen Red Label Golden Era OM pairs a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides on a 14-fret orchestra model body, finished here in sunburst with a slotted headstock. Golden Era scalloped X-bracing in quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce and reverse-kerfed linings give the top room to move for a rich, complex voice, while a carbon-fiber reinforced khaya mahogany neck set with a dovetail joint stays stable through the seasons. An ebony fingerboard with rosewood binding, an ebony bridge, unbleached bone nut and saddle, maple binding with abalone purfling and a wood-line rosette with an abalone core complete a hand-built guitar that is Plek-set and fitted with Grover open-gear tuners and electronics.
