The Hozen Red Label Golden Era OM in flamed maple pairs a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid flamed maple back and sides and a carbon-fiber reinforced flamed maple neck, finished here in sunburst. Maple brings a bright, articulate voice with excellent note separation, and the torrefied top adds warmth and a played-in response. Golden Era scalloped X-bracing in quarter-sawn Adirondack spruce, a dovetail neck joint, an ebony fingerboard with rosewood binding, an ebony bridge, unbleached bone nut and saddle, maple binding with abalone purfling and Grover open-gear tuners round out a hand-built orchestra model that is Plek-set and fitted with electronics.
