Sitka Spruce on the soundboard delivers a balanced, articulate voice with plenty of dynamic headroom, while East Indian Rosewood back and sides bring the rich low-end fundamental and warm midrange that complete the picture, and McPherson's design opens the soundboard up for the brand's signature volume, projection, and long sustain. Flamed Koa binding, an Ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl McPherson Wave inlay, a Sapele neck, Bone nut and saddle, gold Gotoh 510 tuners, and an L.R. Baggs EAS pickup system round out the build.
