The McPherson MG 4.5 XP12 in East Indian Rosewood and Bearclaw Sitka Spruce is a hand-built 12-string acoustic that pairs two of the most musical tonewoods in lutherie with McPherson's patented offset-soundhole and cantilevered-neck design. Bearclaw figured Sitka offers the strength, elasticity, and quick attack needed to handle the heavier tension and complexity of paired courses, producing brilliant chime and clarity across the octave strings while staying focused under a heavy strum. East Indian Rosewood back and sides bring the rich low-end fundamental and warm midrange that anchor the top's shimmer, and McPherson's design opens the soundboard up for the brand's signature volume, headroom, and long sustain. Flamed Koa binding, an Ebony fretboard with Mother of Pearl Standard Wave inlay, a Sapele neck, Bone nut and saddle, gold Gotoh 510 mini tuners, and an L.R. Baggs EAS pickup system round out the build.
