Six versatile amp characters — Acoustic, Clean, Pushed, Crunch, Lead, and Brown — each with selectable variations, provide a wide range of sounds from sparkling cleans to high-gain saturation. Five independent effects sections offer access to over 60 effect types through the BOSS Tone Studio editor, giving players deep control over their sound without needing a pedalboard. Four onboard Tone Settings let you store and recall complete amp and effects setups instantly. The Power Control feature scales output for cranked-amp feel at any volume, making this amp equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in the bedroom. USB-C connectivity enables direct recording with IR-based cabinet simulation and three selectable Air Feel voicings, while a Power Amp input accommodates external preamps and modelers. Full compatibility with the BOSS Tone Studio app across desktop and mobile platforms, along with access to the BOSS Tone Exchange community, opens up a vast library of downloadable presets and shared sounds.
