Five amp character voices (Clean, Crunch, Lead, Brown, Acoustic) each with two variations cover everything from sparkling cleans to scooped high-gain metal tones, all built around the proprietary Tube Logic circuitry that gives Katana amps their characteristic tube-amp feel and dynamics. Five independent effects sections deliver over 60 BOSS effects — boosters, modulation, delay, reverb — all running simultaneously with deep editing via the Tone Studio software. Power Control lets the player crank the amp at any volume from whisper-quiet to full output, while a USB port enables direct recording into any DAW. The MkII version added an upgraded amp voicing, expanded effects, and an updated visual design that's become the Katana family signature.
