Double Helix Acoustic Soundhole Pickup
SKU: KKDBLHLXSThe K&K Double Helix is a hum-cancelling, dual-coil soundhole pickup for steel-string acoustic guitar, built around a unique pair of switches that give the player real tonal range without any electronics inside the instrument. The TONE switch toggles between GLOSS — a bright, shimmery, very acoustic sound with a warm midrange — and STEAM, a much bigger, louder voice with strong feedback rejection that pushes the guitar to the front of a mix; both modes are fully hum cancelling. The PHASE switch lets the Double Helix sit politely alongside any pickup already in the guitar, including K&K's own Pure Pickup for a transducer-plus-magnetic blend. It works beautifully as a plug-and-play standalone pickup, no battery, no preamp, no surgery on the guitar required, and it's an easy upgrade path for players who want a switch between strumming and lead voices in one pickup.
