Banjo Pickup Dual Transducer System Natural Tone
SKU: KKBTWNThe K&K Banjo Twin is a dual-transducer pickup system designed to reproduce the true banjo sound with a natural tone and almost no effect on the instrument's acoustic voice. The two pickups mount to the inside of the banjo head with K&K's removable "Catamaran" self-adhesive technique — the center of each transducer is left free-floating to maximize response while keeping the adhesive footprint and acoustic dampening to a minimum, and nothing about the install requires altering the banjo. The included multi-use endpin jack can be mounted externally with K&K's dual-lock fastener, drilled through the rim, or tucked into a rim slot, so the jack can be removed in seconds when the banjo goes back in its case. It runs happily in fully passive mode, especially into an acoustic amp, and pairs naturally with the Pure Preamp when extra headroom is wanted.
