Iris MS-00 Dark Burst Sitka - Rosewood
The Iris MS-00 is a vintage-inspired parlor-sized acoustic guitar that channels the charm and voice of mid-1930s American instruments. Built with a Sitka spruce top over mahogany back and sides and voiced with scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing, the MS-00 delivers a warm, balanced tone with surprising projection for its compact 00-size body. The 24.75" scale length and 1-11/16" nut width make for a comfortable, responsive playing experience well-suited to fingerpicking and lighter strumming styles. Finished in an elegant open-pore natural satin nitrocellulose lacquer with tortoise binding and vintage-style open-back tuners, every detail of the MS-00 reflects Iris Guitar Company's commitment to quality craftsmanship and period-correct aesthetics. Developed in collaboration with Mark Stutman of Folkway Music and recognized with a Premier Gear Award, the MS-00 is a thoughtfully built small-body guitar that punches well above its size.
