There is something magical about the Bedell Fireside Parlor in Ocean Sinker redwood and Brazilian rosewood. Its top is cut from redwood logs that spent decades submerged before being recovered, giving it a dimensional, almost glittering figure, and it is paired with highly figured Brazilian rosewood back and sides from Bedell's legally documented reserve for a dark, elegant look and a voice to match. Bedell's deep parlor body lets these exceptional tonewoods project a sweet, complex tone with strong volume and ringing sustain, while the Brazilian rosewood delivers deep, warm basses and brilliant, clear trebles. Figured maple purfling outlines the top, fretboard and headstock with a matching rosette, and the Honduran mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard make it as inviting to play as it is to look at, a true collector's parlor that begs to be picked up.
