Boss FS-1-WL Wireless Instrument Pedal
The BOSS FS-1-WL is a wireless footswitch that puts hands-free control of your music apps, DAWs, and compatible hardware right at your feet. Connecting via Bluetooth, it lets you turn pages in digital sheet music, control video playback, trigger DAW recording, and send commands to a wide range of BOSS and Roland wireless-equipped gear like the Katana-Air, Waza-Air, and GX-100.
Three onboard footswitches with quiet, smooth action provide responsive control without distracting noise, while inputs for up to two additional external footswitches and an expression pedal expand your command options even further. The FS-1-WL supports two simultaneous Bluetooth connections — one for instruments and one for a smartphone or computer — so you can control multiple devices at once. A traditional MIDI output and USB port provide wired connectivity when needed.
Using the free BOSS editor app, you can fully customize each footswitch to send keyboard commands, keystroke combinations, or MIDI PC and CC messages, adapting the FS-1-WL to virtually any workflow. LED indicators with customizable colors give you clear visual feedback on stage or in the studio. The ultra-compact design takes up minimal pedalboard or floor space, and two AAA batteries provide approximately 14 hours of wireless operation, making this an effortlessly portable solution for performers, worship musicians, and producers who need reliable foot control without the cables.
