The Kepma FC Mini FCM-SRE-SB is a 3/4-size acoustic-electric guitar that defies the compromises typically associated with compact instruments. Built around a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top paired with layered rosewood back and sides in a striking sunburst finish, this cutaway mini delivers surprising volume and tonal richness for its size. Kepma's proprietary torrefaction process ages the solid top to produce a more resonant, broken-in sound right out of the box, while the arched back design — with back bracing removed entirely — maximizes the guitar's internal resonance and projection.
The neck is crafted from nato with a rosewood fretboard featuring elegant magnolia motif inlays, and the bone nut and saddle contribute to clear note definition and sustain. Kepma's proprietary 4-point bolt-on neck joint allows for precise action adjustments, and the factory setup comes impressively low, making this an effortless player for smaller hands or anyone seeking a comfortable travel companion. The ultra-thin water-based matte finish minimizes vibration damping, letting the tonewoods breathe and respond naturally.
The onboard Elfin Sound System features an undersaddle piezo pickup with volume and tone controls and a phase switch, powered by a rechargeable battery, making it stage and studio-ready without the need for an external preamp.
