The Eastman E22SS/v-SB pairs a solid Adirondack spruce top with solid walnut back and sides, delivering a bold, punchy voice with rich harmonic complexity. Hand-carved scalloped X-bracing allows the top to vibrate freely, producing impressive projection and dynamic responsiveness across the entire frequency range. The traditional dreadnought body provides the full-bodied low end and powerful midrange that flatpickers and strummers demand, while walnut's clear, focused overtones keep the sound articulate and defined even when played hard. Finished in Eastman's signature antique varnish, this guitar has the look, feel, and resonance of a well-played vintage instrument right out of the case.
