The Eastman E20SS Thermo-Cure pairs a solid thermo-cured Adirondack spruce top with solid rosewood back and sides in a classic slope-shouldered dreadnought silhouette. The thermo-curing process artificially ages the spruce at a molecular level, delivering the open, resonant warmth of a decades-old instrument from the very first strum. Hand-carved scalloped X bracing lets the top move freely for rich, dynamic response across the tonal spectrum. The shorter 24.75" scale length gives the E20SS a relaxed string tension that lends itself to a warm, woody midrange and effortless playability, making it equally at home fingerpicking blues as it is driving a flatpicked rhythm. Built entirely by hand in Eastman's workshop, this is a professional-grade acoustic rooted in pre-war tradition with nothing to hide behind its all-solid tonewood construction.
