When playing acoustically (meaning not plugged into an amplifier or mixer), you get stunning reverb, chorus or delay right from the guitar, no effects pedals necessary! When you plug into an amp or mixer, the AcoustiFex system provides you with an undersaddle piezo pickup PLUS an onboard condenser microphone with a blend control. You still have the effects available as well so you can take total control of your sound right from the guitar preamp control center.
