AER Colourizer-2 Acoustic Guitar DI and Preamp
SKU: COLOURIZER-2The AER Colourizer 2 is a hand-built single-channel preamp and DI designed to make acoustic instruments and microphones sound their best when running into a mixing console, recording interface or amplifier that isn't tuned for them. Patched between source and destination, it adds body and warmth with three independently switchable shaping stages — a tone-balance filter, a harmonic enhancer and a sweepable equalizer — that can be combined to thicken thin pickup signals, tame harsh resonances or carve out a specific tonal pocket without colouring the source unnaturally. A combo XLR/jack input handles instruments and condenser microphones (with switchable 24-volt phantom power), while a balanced XLR DI with level control and a separate 1/4-inch line output give clean, low-noise paths to any sound system.
