The Furch Blue Gc is a grand auditorium cutaway acoustic guitar that pairs a AA-grade western red cedar top with African mahogany back and sides, delivering a warm, balanced tone with rich harmonic complexity. Each soundboard is individually voiced through Furch's proprietary fine-tuning process, ensuring exceptional resonance and projection. The open-pore finish allows the tonewoods to breathe and vibrate freely, enhancing the guitar's natural voice. At the heart of the neck is Furch's CNR System Active, a dual-action truss rod housed in a rigid carbon structure with a solid-wood expansion element that automatically adjusts string action in response to environmental changes, keeping the guitar playing smoothly in any conditions. The ebony fingerboard and bridge add clarity and sustain, while the grand auditorium cutaway body shape offers a versatile, comfortable platform equally suited to fingerpicking and strumming with easy upper-fret access.
