SKU: BLA-ST-BUTThe Blaggard is Gordon Smith's read on the bolt-on single-cut - simple, bright, loud and built to work. A lightweight Obeche body keeps it under 7lbs, and a maple neck with a vintage-tint maple fingerboard sits over a vintage T-tray bridge and a pair of hand-wound Higham Honk pickups. The full nitro finish is aged with a fine crazing so it arrives feeling played-in rather than precious, and the satin neck, relic hardware, single-ply black scratchplate and knurled metal knobs keep everything where your hands expect it. Butterscotch is the classic of the three finishes, a warm translucent amber over the grain. Snappy and lively, and straight to the point.
