Its hand-carved, solid thermo-cured spruce top and maple back and sides deliver the warm, woody resonance of a seasoned vintage instrument straight out of the case — the thermal curing process artificially ages the tonewoods, opening up the sound in a way that normally takes decades of playing. A Lollar Johnny Smith floating pickup captures every nuance of the carved top's natural voice without compromising its acoustic properties, making this a true dual-purpose instrument. Refined details like snakewood binding, pearl and abalone diamond inlays, and a Truetone gloss finish give the AR905CE a distinctive elegance that sets it apart from the crowd.
