At its core, the Acoustic Resonance processing restores the natural body and string resonance that undersea pickup systems typically lose, bringing your amplified acoustic tone closer to the sound of your unplugged instrument. A multi-band compressor with BOSS's MDP technology provides transparent dynamics control tailored specifically for acoustic guitar, smoothing your output without squashing the organic feel of your playing.
Two independent input channels let you switch between guitars or blend a magnetic and undersaddle pickup, each with dedicated four-band EQ featuring a parametric midrange and variable low-cut filter. Advanced anti-feedback tools, including a reduction function and dual notch filters, keep problematic frequencies in check on loud stages. Onboard ambience, chorus, and delay effects each offer three variations, giving you polished tones without extra pedals on your board.
Dual XLR outputs feed directly to a PA or recording console, while stereo quarter-inch outputs handle amp and monitor connections. A built-in USB audio interface provides a clean two-in, two-out recording path straight into your DAW. An 80-second phrase looper and built-in tuner round out the performance features, and ten onboard memory slots let you save and recall complete sound setups between songs or venues. The AD-10 runs on an AC adapter or six AA batteries, making it equally at home on a pedalboard or at an unplugged gig.
